First off, from the title, don’t judge me. I really don’t love Dora, that saying has always stuck with me from the countless hours of watching Dora with my Nieces and Nephew.
As many of you read earlier this week we got the go-ahead from our Pediatrician to start Payton on rice cereal because she isn’t getting enough from her formula feedings. Jim and I were so excited to start this because we’re demented and wanted to see our little one’s face with cereal all over it. We didn’t have high expectations for her loving it or for her to even put a dent into the portion. We just wanted her to get a taste for what’s to come. After about five spoonfuls she got the spoon-to-mouth action down. I am so happy we made it through the first feeding without her whaling into tears or gagging. I guess we just have one little eater on our hands. I am one proud mama!
