Back in 2008, I started baking for celebrations. For awhile I dreamt of owning my own bakery, and while it’s something I would still love to do, it’s been put on the back burner. I love to bake, I love simple events but most importantly I have an eye for detail. I typically go overboard and if you hear me say, “it’s just going to be a few cupcakes and a small cake” then you better be prepared for decorated cookies, cake pops, dipped marshmallows and other small pastries that fit the event theme. If you visit my cupcakes & events page you will see many of the events I have baked for. I am proud that my work has gotten better throughout the years. I am 100% self-taught, I have taken a gum paste flower class and a fondant class, despite never using it. I have done events that were from one dozen to over forty. It’s my happy place. I take pride in my baking and I put so much love into it. I pride myself on baking from scratch and using the best ingredients. The question I get the most is, “what’s your favorite cake flavor?” I usually giggle, while I love a good cake, pie is my ultimate favorite.
